The Holy Cross Ukrainian Dancers celebrated 25 years of dance in 2002. The group began in 1977 under the name of Holy Cross Dancers and from it's inception has developed into a group of young, vibrant individuals who promote our Ukrainian culture. The Holy Cross Ukrainain Dancers are a self-governing, non-profit socitey dedicated to the preservation of Ukrainian culture through the development of Ukrainian folk dances.

ZORIANKA which means "little star" encompasses the high spirits of the ensemble.

Over the years, our dancers have had the opportunity to travel across Western Canada and the United States for performances and competitions and have recieved numerous awards and scholarships. A highlight for Jr. Zoria and Zoria was in 1998 when they performed in Disneyland. In 1999, they traveled to Dauphin, Manitoba when they performed in the Grandstand show at Canada's National Ukrainian Festival.

Zorianka has contributed to Edmonton's cultural life over the years through annual performances at West Edmonton Mall, Londonderry Mall, as well as, many other special events throughout the city.
